Active Trials

Definition

Active Trial Subscriptions is a non-cohort chart that shows a number of free trial subscriptions within the selected dates.

Active free trial subscriptions are the total number of auto-renewable trial subscriptions until the end of their trial period.

How Do Subscriptions Appear in the Chart?

New free-trial subscription purchases appear in the chart on the same day they are made. However, subscription updates, such as canceling auto-renewal, are updated the next day.

For example, if a trial subscription converts to a paid subscription in the middle of the day, the chart will show it as a trial subscription today. Tomorrow, it will be displayed as an active paid subscription. Similarly, if a free trial subscription expires during the day, it will still be counted as a free trial for that day but will not be included in the count for the next day.
