Step-by-step quickstart checklist to launch your first Apphud Flow (web funnel).
Flow Launch Quickstart Guide
Before You BeginThis guide assumes you have already contacted our representative and enabled the Flows add-on. If you haven’t done so, please contact us to get started.
1. Connect a Payment Provider (One-Time Setup)
- Integrate Stripe or Paddle in App settings → Web → Payment providers.
- Refer to our Web Payments guide for detailed instructions and a comparison between these providers.
2. Set Up Email Domain (One-Time Setup)
To enable Apphud to send emails from your domain:
- Add your Email domain and the required DNS records as outlined in our Configure Email Domain guide.
3. Configure Attribution and Analytics (One-Time Setup)
Attribution allows you to track campaign performance and enable deferred deep linking:
- Create deep link in your Mobile Measurement Partner dashboard to attribute web subsribers to app users. Follow the Configure Flow Attribution guide for details.
- Configure product analytics for your Flow (match User IDs)
4. Create a New Flow
Before building your flow using the Builder Kit:
- Obtain an API key by following the Create New Flow guide.
5. Configure Web Products
Set up the essential components for your flow in the Products Hub:
- Web products
- Paywalls
- Placements
For step-by-step instructions, refer to our Configure Web Products guide.
6. Build the Flow
- Get Flows Builder Kit to design and build the flow.
- Refer to the documentation within the Framer project for guidance on creating your flow.
7. Configure the App
Enable your app to attribute installations from web users:
- Choose one of the following methods: Deferred Deeplinking or Restoring by Email. Refer to the Configure the App for Apphud Flow guide for details.
8. Test the Flow
Ensure everything works as expected before going live:
- Thoroughly test and debug your flow.
- Follow the steps in our Flow Testing & Troubleshooting guide.
9. Switch to Production
Easy switch to ProductionFollow this guide on how to set up sandbox and production environments on the same flow.
Once testing is complete:
- Change the Web SDK initialization parameter from
debug: truetodebug: false. - Update placement's paywall with production products.
