Apphud integrates with leading mobile attribution platforms. Pass attribution data to Apphud and send subscription events to attribution platforms.
Apphud integrates with the leading mobile attribution platforms — receive attribution data into Apphud to enrich your user profiles and charts, and send Apphud subscription events back to the attribution platform to measure ad campaign performance against real revenue.
How attribution integrations work in Apphud
Most attribution integrations are two-way:
- Receive Attribution Data — Apphud receives campaign data (network, campaign, ad set, ad, click ID, install source, etc.) from the attribution provider. This data is attached to the user's Apphud profile and becomes available as a filter in every chart (Cohorts, New Users, Proceeds, LTV, ARPU, etc.).
- Send Subscription Events — Apphud forwards trial, subscription, renewal, refund, and purchase events to the attribution provider so it can attribute revenue back to campaigns and pass that data to its ad-network partners.
Sending events to a provider isn't the same as attributionApphud forwards subscription events for every user that has a provider's device signals — not only users acquired through that provider. So it's normal to see far more events sent to a network (for example Meta) than users attributed to it, and to see a provider's raw data (such as Facebook
anon_id/extinfo) on users attributed to another source like Apple Search Ads. See Meta Ads (Conversions API) → FAQ for a worked example.
For attribution providers, integration setup typically requires:
- Installing the provider's SDK alongside the Apphud SDK.
- Calling Apphud's attribution method (
Apphud.setAttribution(...)/Apphud.addAttribution(...)) so the provider's device ID and (when applicable) install data reach Apphud. - Collecting Device Identifiers (IDFA/IDFV on iOS, GAID on Android) and requesting IDFA Consent on iOS 14.5+.
- Configuring authentication credentials (API token, App ID, Pixel ID, etc.) on the Apphud integration page.
See the Integrations overview for shared concepts (Connection, Source, Environment, Revenue, Filters, Events) used on every integration page.
